Ingredients
- 1 15-oz can of organic garbanzo beans (chickpeas)
- 2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt
Directions
- Step 1 Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Step 2 Rinse chickpeas and drain. Lay chickpeas flat on paper towel or cloth and pat dry.
- Step 3 Place in a deep baking dish, in a single layer and bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
- Step 4 Remove, stir and return to oven for 15 minutes longer.
- Step 5 Remove, drizzle olive oil and seasonings (garlic powder & salt), then stir to coat well.
- Step 6 Place chickpeas back in the oven and bake for 15 minutes. Remove, stir/toss thoroughly. Bake for a final 10 minutes. Store in an air-tight container.
