Charities + Causes

At times we need a helping hand, and other times we are fortunate enough to lend the helping hand. We can't change the world alone as individuals or fix all problems but collectively we can always do good and contribute to a greater cause or those in need. I've dedicated this page to Charities or Causes that are in need of your help. Some will be for large scale community projects and others will be for individuals who are in need of our help. Every little bit helps. NEVER underestimate the power in numbers!

Andre, 4 years old

A month ago, his family moved to Florida from New York and while evacuating due to Hurricane Dorian they ended up in a hospital in Atlanta for what was thought to be a simple appendix removal. It ended up being the news no parent wants to hear. Andre at age 4 was diagnosed with a rare kidney cancer called nephroblastoma, because of insurance the family of four (and dog) must immediately relocate back to New York and start chemo therapy and treatment for the next year. This treatment is imperative for his survival and the expenses are through the roof!

We're asking you to help the family to give Andre the best opportunity at having a bright future and have total and complete healing. Any contribution is appreciated. I Alexandra (Mother of Andre) will be responsible for all funds and they will be spent on medical bills & treatments, relocation costs, family cost of living expenses.

• Provide credible resources & education for healthcare professionals
• Serve as the voice for all Sjogrens patients through advocacy & awareness initiatives

➡️ If you or someone you love is battling Sjogrens, you can learn more at Sjogrens.org and you can read a brief journal post about Sjogrens HERE

The Sjogrens Foundation is an organization I’ve joined to raise awareness and further research for Sjogrens disease.
As a Sjogrens warrior, I’ve been on the search for a foundation I can get behind. This foundation has surpassed their 5 year breakthrough goal to shorten the diagnosis time by 50%. It now takes an average of 2.8 years to receive a proper diagnosis, down from the average 6 years! This alone can help a Sjogrens patient immensely. I am so optimistic about the future achievements to be made in conquering the complexities of Sjogrens Disease.

Thank you in advance for your support!
