Turmeric Herb Baked Chicken

Ingredients
- 1 whole pasture raised/organic chicken
- turmeric (powder onto the chicken)
- 1-2 tsp chopped fresh rosemary
- 1 tsp chopped fresh thyme
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt
- Pepper
- 2 Tbsp olive oil or ghee butter
Directions
- Step 1 1. Preheat your oven to 350 F.
- Step 2 2. Cut up the chicken into pieces or leave whole and chop up after it’s cooked (your choice)
- Step 3 3. Lay pieces out onto baking dish (just something deep enough to hold all the juices)
- Step 4 4. Coat the chicken with chopped thyme, chopped rosemary, minced garlic, powdered turmeric, sea salt, pepper, olive oil/butter
- Step 5 5. Place into oven for 30 minutes
- Step 6 6. Remove from oven and flip pieces over.
- Step 7 7. Return back to the oven for another 30 minutes.
- Step 8 8. Then remove again to flip, coat up the chicken pieces with the juices/oils that have developed in your baking tray.
- Step 9 9. Return back to oven for another 30 minutes, maybe longer for crispier skin (your preference)
- Step 10 10. Remove from oven and serve with sides of your choice. (Asparagus, roasted butternut squash, brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes, etc.)
