Turmeric Herb Baked Chicken

Ingredients
  • 1 whole pasture raised/organic chicken
  • turmeric (powder onto the chicken)
  • 1-2 tsp chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh thyme
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil or ghee butter
Directions
  • Step 1 1. Preheat your oven to 350 F.
  • Step 2 2. Cut up the chicken into pieces or leave whole and chop up after it’s cooked (your choice)
  • Step 3 3. Lay pieces out onto baking dish (just something deep enough to hold all the juices)
  • Step 4 4. Coat the chicken with chopped thyme, chopped rosemary, minced garlic, powdered turmeric, sea salt, pepper, olive oil/butter
  • Step 5 5. Place into oven for 30 minutes
  • Step 6 6. Remove from oven and flip pieces over.
  • Step 7 7. Return back to the oven for another 30 minutes.
  • Step 8 8. Then remove again to flip, coat up the chicken pieces with the juices/oils that have developed in your baking tray.
  • Step 9 9. Return back to oven for another 30 minutes, maybe longer for crispier skin (your preference)
  • Step 10 10. Remove from oven and serve with sides of your choice. (Asparagus, roasted butternut squash, brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes, etc.)
